The Paris Connection Experience
With over 20 years of experience in bridal fashion, Paris Connection Bridal makes finding your own perfect wedding dress a low-stress experience. We offer full service “One-Stop Shopping” where we meet all bridal and fashion needs on any budget — with careful attention to the minutest detail — in one location.

When to Shop for Your Dress
Start your dress search eight months to one year prior to your wedding, as it takes four to six months to deliver your dress after the order is placed. Your wedding dress and accessories budget depends on your own personal style and what is important to you; it’s all about the dress! For most of our brides, typically the gown price does not exceed 12 percent of the total budget.

Selecting the Dress
I suggest that before visiting Paris Connection Bridal, you “do your homework” so that you already have an idea of which styles you love. This makes your visit more enjoyable, and helps me give you my most personalized and unsurpassed service in expressing your own individual style on that
special day.

Prior to visiting Paris Connection, I also suggest that you wear light makeup, bring high-heeled shoes, and wear your hair styled in a way that represents how you will look on your wedding day. Your guests are also welcome. However, more than two people can be counterproductive in your decision making if they give you conflicting opinions; on the contrary, such a situation may make your experience difficult and stressful.

Allow at least an hour for your visit. At Paris Connection, you will try on several dresses from various designers’ samples in store. I always suggest that you choose a gown that plays up your best features. However, it is important that you make your own final decision, as YOU are the one that must feel beautiful and stylish.

I personally take your measurements according to the designer’s size chart and the dress is then tailor made to your specifications. As soon as your dress arrives at the store, I call you to schedule an appointment for the final fit, and for alterations when needed.

New Trends

Gown Shape
The traditional stiff A-line gowns of yesteryear have given way to more fitted and sensuous gowns reminiscent of mermaid forms in soft and wavy lace, appealing to the romantic bride. But ball gown styles with puffy tie-ups layers are still very much in demand, and as always, the strapless is here to stay. Empire styles with scooped bodices, high waistlines and slender skirts are making a come back. And the always-sexy sheath style that hugs the bust, waist and hips is a better fit for the tall, slim bride with a petite frame..

Gown Colors
Diamond white and ivory are still the height of fashion. However, the trend — especially in Europe — is to add touches of pastel colors, such as pink and baby blue, or presenting the entire dress in a vibrant solid color, such as a dramatic red.

Gown Fabrics
Today’s favorite fabrics, such as crepe and chiffon, are soft and airy. Duchesse satin, a mix of silk and polyester woven to create a satin finish, is used quite frequently. Lace is popular, and luxurious silk is always in demand.

Accessories
I work with your own individual style to provide you with only the best designs and to lend your dress just the right sophisticated finishing touch. At Paris Connection, we also custom design your veil and your jewelry. Our on-site jewelry designer creates sample designs on the spot to help you better visualize the accessories that will complement your outfit.

Bridal Jewelry of Swarovski crystals and freshwater pearls are much in fashion.

Hair Ornaments: Tiaras are still popular, but side Combs and Headbands have made a comeback. They are the perfect hair accent... especially for destination weddings.

Bridal Purses: Silk or satin beaded Bridal Purses, perhaps adorned with a rhinestone motif, add a touch of classic elegance.

Feel sensuous with soft and sexy Bridal lingerie made for that very special night and your honeymoon.
